We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at Unity Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing diagnostic radiographic cases for all patients.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and perform diagnostic radiographic cases for all patients
- Provide open, accurate, and responsive communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate ethical and professional conduct at all times
- Flexibility to work overtime, on-call duty, and disaster work as required
- Must have completed a recognized school of radiologic technology
- Must have certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Prefer 1 year radiologic experience
- Knowledge of radiographic examinations, procedures, and equipment operations
- Ability to work in a radiation area and manage physically aggressive patients
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate radiographic equipment
- Good understanding of age-related developmental issues in pediatrics through geriatrics
Worker must adjust to performing routine, repetitive tasks without specific supervision. Worker will be performing within a radiation area and may be exposed to blood, body fluids/tissues, and electromagnetic radiation.
Physical and Mental EffortThe ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance, reach, stoop, and bend while maintaining a good mechanical body position. Ability to work within a limited space and in bright and low lighted examination rooms.
