Job Summary

Requirements
  • Must have completed a recognized school of radiologic technology
  • Must have certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Prefer 1 year radiologic experience
  • Knowledge of radiographic examinations, procedures, and equipment operations
  • Ability to work in a radiation area and manage physically aggressive patients
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate radiographic equipment
  • Good understanding of age-related developmental issues in pediatrics through geriatrics
Working Conditions

Worker must adjust to performing routine, repetitive tasks without specific supervision. Worker will be performing within a radiation area and may be exposed to blood, body fluids/tissues, and electromagnetic radiation.

Physical and Mental Effort

The ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance, reach, stoop, and bend while maintaining a good mechanical body position. Ability to work within a limited space and in bright and low lighted examination rooms.
