Veritas Steel LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team at our Eau Claire location.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to plan, organize, and execute activities related to bridge fabrication projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing programming for all CNC operations, providing technical direction and support to CNC operators, and managing DXF files from import to output of programming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement CNC programs for bridge fabrication projects
  • Provide technical support and guidance to CNC operators
  • Manage and maintain DXF files and ensure data accuracy
  • Coordinate with the Production Scheduler and Material Coordinator to ensure smooth project execution
  • Participate in project planning and execution, including weekly project meetings
  • Ensure schedule is executed with a sense of urgency and attention to safety, quality, timeliness, and cost

Requirements

  • Advanced blueprint reading skills
  • Working knowledge of computer-based modeling and programming
  • AutoCAD-CAD/CAM experience
  • Experience with Prime Cut (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, recordkeeping, and communication skills
  • Formal CAD, CAM, and CNC training
  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

Working Conditions

  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment with potential hazards
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when on the production floor
