Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Veritas Steel LLC. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing activities related to bridge fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement CNC programs for various operations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to CNC operators
  • Collaborate with the Production Scheduler and Material Coordinator to ensure efficient production
  • Manage DXF files and coordinate the release of production tracking documents
  • Utilize Fabsuite to download and verify data, link piece marks to raw material, and establish workstation routings
  • Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements:

  • Advanced blueprint reading skills
  • Working knowledge of computer-based modeling and programming
  • AutoCAD-CAD/CAM experience
  • Experience with Prime Cut (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, recordkeeping, and communication skills
  • Formal CAD, CAM, and CNC training
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing environment with potential hazards
  • Required personal protective equipment (PPE) includes safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots
