Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:
AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate medical imaging equipment, such as X-ray and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical imaging principles and techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and best practices.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved AMA school of Radiology and registered ARRT.
  • Possess knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Possession of two years of diagnostic experience, desirable.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist.
  • Ability to move 40 pounds six feet.
  • Ability to reach overhead holding 25 pounds.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds from wheelchair to bed level.
  • Ability to pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed.
  • Ability to push 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet.
