We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety and Compliance Manager to join our team in Stratford, CT. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance throughout our operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing comprehensive safety programs, conducting regular safety audits and investigations, and overseeing vehicle maintenance and inspections. You will also be expected to manage the Driver/MHE selection and hiring process, communicate safety information effectively, and develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs.
A successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety & Health or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in safety management.
