Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS INC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care to individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in HIV/AIDS care.
  • Contribute to the development of internal and external marketing materials to promote our services and educate the community about HIV/AIDS prevention and care.
Requirements
  • Current and valid Arizona license from the State Board of Nursing for Advanced Nursing Practice.
  • Meet all clinical obligations of the medical practice, including accrediting agency compliance, CLIA compliance, and DEA certification.
  • Credentialed with AHCCCS and major health insurance plans.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and staff members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications and electronic medical records.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency to serve diverse populations, including LGBTQIA2S+ individuals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of HIV disease and HIV-related primary care, PrEP/PEP, and HRT.
  • AAHIVM accreditation.
  • Personal or professional experience working with LGBTQIA2S+ individuals.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Work Environment

Our office environment is climate-controlled, with minimal safety/health hazard potential. You will work primarily in an office setting, with occasional evening and weekend work required.
