We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Kelberman Center Inc. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess program participants on an ongoing basis to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment plans using evidence-based practices and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate individuals and teams about findings, treatment plans, and methods of treatment to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Collect and maintain data on goals, progress, and outcomes to inform treatment decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment through collaborative teamwork, effective communication, and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a related field, preferably working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, and experience with HRIS systems.
  • A valid New York State driver's license and the ability to travel to various locations as needed.
