iTHRIV Research Concierge Services Manager

The Integrated Translational Health Research Institute of Virginia (iTHRIV) at the University of Virginia (UVA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the iTHRIV Research Concierge Services Manager. This critical role will play a key part in facilitating clinical and translational research across a multi-institutional collaboration in Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with research service teams across Grounds at UVA to provide personalized expert assistance to diverse study teams.
  • Lead the concierge services team to optimize connections for researchers with industry-sponsored and/or federally-funded research opportunities.
  • Develop resources to support clinical and translational research, including feasibility assessments and grant development.
  • Collaborate with iTHRIV service providers to support community organization requests for resources and services in clinical and translational research.
  • Provide support for the iTHRIV Research Concierge Portal, including personalized trainings and approving content submitted by users.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least four years of experience, with seven years of experience required for the senior level
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Physical Demands:

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs.

Work Schedule:

This position is open to a hybrid work schedule, with the selected candidate required to work partly on-site in Charlottesville, VA.
