This position is part of the Facilities Management department at Intermountain Health, requiring experience in HVAC maintenance, repair, or installation, preferably in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as the ability to perform routine maintenance and inspections, diagnose and repair issues, and ensure all systems are operating efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems

Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC systems

Ensure all systems are operating efficiently and effectively

Work with a variety of systems and equipment, including boilers, chillers, air handlers, and control systems

Requirements:

Experience as an HVAC technician

Demonstrated abilities in the area applied for

Valid driver's license may be required for this position

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions

Physical Requirements:

Bending, lifting, stooping, crawling, laying, sitting, walking, climbing

Use of hand and power tools, proper use of hearing and eye protection

Exposure to extreme temperatures in nature, work in noisy or constricted spaces, exposure to odors and smells
