Job Title: Registered Nurse - TelemetryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a telemetry setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing patients with cardiac conditions using telemetry equipment, tracking heart rhythms and vital signs to detect any abnormalities or changes.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions using telemetry equipment.
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status, initiating interventions as necessary.
- Perform regular patient assessments, documenting changes in condition, symptoms, and responses to treatments in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiac care, including post-discharge instructions, medication management, and lifestyle changes to support heart health.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Current RN state license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a telemetry or cardiac care setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
