We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Stark Enterprises. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in planning and executing new development projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate project development activities related to assigned projects
  • Conduct preliminary site, civil, and infrastructure analysis, including preliminary cut and fill take-off exercises, grading and drainage analysis
  • Develop preliminary site designs to understand density options and comply with zoning restrictions
  • Collaborate with Project Management to obtain project proposals and develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Work closely with internal Planning & Design team
  • Coordinate due diligence work with third-party vendors, including ordering Alta/Geo/Phase 1, etc.
  • Coordinate with civil, traffic engineers, environmental consultants, landscape designers, and site lighting
  • Effectively read and understand civil engineering drawings and problem-solve for any obstacles
  • Manage contracts and bids with vendors and suppliers
  • Build take-off budgets and proformas for various types of projects
  • Effectively communicate and convey with leadership on project updates, potential risks, technical challenges, and recommend appropriate mitigation plans
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor within the scope of employee's ability
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience with ground-up development and horizontal design management preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D)
  • Demonstrated experience in reading construction documents and specification manuals
  • Minimum 5 years of Civil Engineering, project planning, oversight, and delivery experience
  • Collaboration: Develops, maintains, and strengthens collaborative relationships inside and outside the organization
  • Communication: Listens actively and expresses self clearly in conversations and interactions with others; expresses self clearly in business writing to effectively reach the audience
  • Results Orientation: Prioritizes projects to meet required deadlines. Carefully manages several projects at once, focusing on the desired end result of one's work
