Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Dietary Manager to oversee the food service department at our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutritional services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the food service department, including staffing, food ordering, meal preparation, and food delivery
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures
  • Supervise food service staff and provide guidance on food safety and sanitation practices
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure that nutritional services are aligned with resident care plans
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality preferred
  • Certified Food Service Manager certification required
  • Food Handler level II or similar food safety certification required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
