Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

In this newly created leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the financial and operational strategy of Housing Connector.

Working closely with our CEO, you will drive financial and operational goals for an organization overseeing $15 million in annual revenues.

You will ensure the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization while partnering in the design and analysis of innovative financial products that drive sustainable impact.

  • Collaborate with the CEO to set the organization's financial strategy
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and oversee all financial plans and budgets
  • Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the executive team and board
  • Ensure compliance with federal grants and other regulatory requirements
  • Provide financial insights and strategic counsel to senior leaders on the financial implications of their areas
  • Monitor financial performance, anticipate challenges, and generate strategies for financial impact
  • Manage cash flow and work with auditors on annual financial and regulatory matters

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, enhance, and implement systems and processes across the organization to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Oversee operational infrastructure, ensuring systems are built to support growth and increase impact
  • Ensure compliance of accounting and reporting systems with GAAP and government regulations
  • Identify cross-functional opportunities to optimize organizational operations and foster collaboration
  • Lead the development and maintenance of key operational processes that drive overall company success

About the Role:

This is an exempt position with a salary range of $150,000 - $190,000.

The role is open to candidates based in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and Texas.
