You will provide technical guidance and support in the development and optimization of maintenance systems, and develop and manage capital projects necessary to sustain and improve mill systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support for and implementing safety improvement initiatives
  • Leading and managing maintenance on mill facilities and infrastructure systems
  • Providing mechanical engineering support to initiate, design, and develop improvements to mill facilities and infrastructure systems
  • Managing mill infrastructure maintenance budget
  • Optimizing mill maintenance systems and offering counsel for entire mill in: Reliability, Spending, Workflow, Planning, Scheduling, etc.
  • Developing and executing capital projects with primary focus on infrastructure systems, buildings and grounds
  • Acting as the key interface between Kimberly-Clark Owensboro and Austin, the site maintenance contractor
  • Providing leadership and coaching development to engineers, technicians and contracted maintenance personnel
  • Supporting each product system for flow to red and shutdown conditions as necessary
