This role focuses on delivering high-quality ultrasound examinations in a primary care environment, significantly improving patient access and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct non-invasive general and vascular ultrasound procedures independently, utilizing remote support as necessary.
- Prepare preliminary reports for physician review to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
- Provide exceptional patient care, assisting individuals from check-in through to the completion of their examinations, ensuring a compassionate and professional experience.
Position Details
- Part-time schedule of 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during daytime hours.
- No night or weekend shifts required, and no on-call duties.
- Work within a primary care facility; this is not a mobile position.
- Competitive compensation package, including reimbursement for certifications and free parking.
- Comprehensive cross-training program available, fully funded, to enhance skills across various settings.
Qualifications
- Certification in ultrasound from recognized registries, with a focus on General Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound.
- A minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in sonography.
- Ability to assist patients and manage equipment as needed.
- Must be fully vaccinated or willing to receive COVID-19 vaccinations, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.
