Job Opportunity

Smart Folks Inc is seeking a highly skilled OKTA Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and integrate Okta's cloud technologies into Identity and Access Management (IAM) environments.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Single Sign-On (SSO) and federation services for integrating applications with Okta.
  • Develop strong understanding and troubleshooting skills for SSO/federated authentication methods (SAML, OIDC) and their components.
  • Transition, support, and maintain knowledge of new application integrations and environment upgrades to SSO operations.
  • Experience with System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) and Just-In-Time (JIT) provisioning.
  • Understanding of legacy authentication methods such as Kerberos and Header authentication.
  • Experience making API calls to the Okta API or another Identity Provider API.
  • Experience with Enterprise Directory/Directory Integration (LDAP) and Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and webgate configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of Unix, WebLogic, and SSL certificates.
  • Knowledge of incident/problem management processes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to independently handle customer calls.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Okta's cloud technologies and IAM environments.
  • Experience with SSO and federation services.
