Clinical Pharmacist

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Orlando, Florida. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Job Responsibilities:- Medication Order Review: Review, clarify, and verify medication orders for accuracy, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our pediatric patients.
- Pharmacy Services: Provide pharmacy services in the inpatient and outpatient retail pharmacy department, including the dispensing of medications and related activities.
- Patient Care: Provide pediatric pharmaceutical services to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes, including advising physicians and practitioners on drug therapy, drug interactions, and side effects.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement and medication use review activities, collecting data, conducting quality monitors, and maintaining records as assigned.
- Communication: Establish and maintain open communication with healthcare teams, patients, and families to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, PharmD preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of six months of experience, with prior hospital pharmacy experience and pediatric hospital experience preferred.
- Licensure: Currently licensed by the State of Florida or legally eligible.
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS required within 90 days of hire.
