Job Summary

The Vascular Sonographer performs daily routine and diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians, consistently producing high-quality vascular scans. This role requires knowledge and proficiency in Vascular Sonography exams, including 2D scans, Duplex imaging, Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI), and Doppler studies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree from a two-year allied health education program preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer; 2-4 years of experience in Vascular Sonography desired.
  • RVT (ARDMS), RVS (CCI), or RT(VS) (ARRT) certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) also required.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing, sitting, walking, and repetitive motion. The ability to lift 20-50 pounds is necessary, as is strong recall, reasoning, problem-solving, hearing, speaking clearly, writing legibly, and reading comprehension.
