Job Overview:

At H&R Block, we're seeking a skilled Tax Associate to join our team. As a Tax Associate, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and ensuring accurate tax preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tax interviews with clients, utilizing virtual tools and face-to-face interactions.
  • Prepare and review complete and accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.
  • Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services to clients.
  • Provide clients with IRS support and answer tax-related questions.
  • Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with comfort using virtual tools and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to meet all IRS and applicable state requirements, including a high school diploma or equivalent.
