Opportunity Overview

Virtual Service Operations is seeking a highly motivated and career-driven individual to join our growing team as a Desktop & Depot Support Specialist in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Responsibilities
  • Provide workstation software break-fix support
  • Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change) tasks for PCs
  • Image loads and asset recovery
  • Manage orderly storage of equipment within the client build center (depot)
  • Perform tasks related to request fulfillment and device refreshes, including picking inventory, image loading, asset tagging, and coordinating shipment
  • Receive returned equipment, determine reuse or disposal, and process accordingly
Requirements
  • Previous working experience in desktop support (training provided for entry-level new hires)
  • Knowledge of PC imaging and experience with change management and incident management
  • Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Bomgar, LapLink, and Secure Disk Wiper
  • Must be within driving distance of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and willing to work onsite
  • U.S. citizenship status required
