$80,000 – $95,000, commensurate with experience

Role Overview:

The Staff Auditor / Senior Auditor will engage in a variety of audits and assessments for the public accounting firm. This position offers exposure to diverse clients, projects, and scenarios, providing an enriching learning environment for the Staff Auditor / Senior Auditor. The individual will develop leadership skills while enjoying the process and fostering enduring professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Auditor / Senior Auditor:
  • Collaborate with team members to execute effective audit procedures and complete audit documentation efficiently.
  • Conduct audit procedures across various domains, including cash, receivables, fixed assets, accounts payable, accrued expenses, debt, and multiple income statement accounts.
  • Evaluate transactions and apply U.S. GAAP appropriately.
  • Communicate audit findings to management effectively.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required by management.
  • Plan and execute audits and reviews, addressing any related client requirements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and updated understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards.
Required Qualifications for the Staff Auditor / Senior Auditor:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a public accounting or CPA firm.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in the non-profit and government sectors is essential.
Educational Background:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is mandatory.
