Job Summary and QualificationsAs a skilled Cath Lab Technologist, you will assist in all invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures. Your role will require clinical expertise, nursing judgment, and a commitment to quality patient care. You will collaborate with a team to ensure an exceptional patient care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct all testing and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Perform cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, electrophysiology device therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostics, and structural heart procedures.
- Facilitate effective communication among staff to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Assist patients throughout the procedure, including transport, site preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
- Manage emergent cases and maintain accurate patient records.
- Demonstrate flexibility and organization in high-pressure situations.
- Collaborate with team members and provide orientation as needed.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire.
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
