Key Responsibilities:
- Handle letter requests utilizing both manual and automated systems, ensuring accurate documentation of customer service interactions.
- Manage prescription pull requests, re-scanning as necessary, and collaborate with pharmacists to gather essential documentation for request resolution.
Quality Control: Responsibilities include data entry and validation, conducting Quality Assurance (QA) tasks, and adhering to work instructions, policies, and regulations as directed by management.
Continuous Improvement: Engage in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives both within and outside the department.
Reporting: Compile and process data to meet reporting requirements and maintain organized records for both on-site and off-site storage.
Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience; experience in dispensing or fulfillment is preferred.
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as mandated by state regulations.
- Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in general computer applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality assurance.
- Capacity to adapt and collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment, demonstrating quick learning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with minimal supervision.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced production setting and willing to work flexible hours to meet peak demand.
- Physical capability to walk, stand, and perform repetitive lifting of boxes weighing up to 35 lbs, with a significant portion of work involving prescription handling.
