Join Our Team as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your duties will include:

  • Performing assessments and developing plans of care for assigned patients
  • Collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to refine and achieve plans of care
  • Continually monitoring patients' physical condition, emotional, and social needs
  • Providing health care teaching to patients and families
  • Evaluating patients' progression towards attainment of outcomes and documenting the effectiveness of interventions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 1 year of employment start date
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or TNCC Instructor certification within 1 year of employment start date
