Customer Service Representative Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer contacts in a professional and courteous manner
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Utilize knowledge base and training to accurately answer customer questions and provide solutions
  • Document and process customer claims and issues in our systems
  • Escalate complex customer issues to senior team members or management as needed
  • Attend training and meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating system
  • Ability to type 20+ words per minute

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of customer service experience in a contact center environment
  • State or Federal work experience
