Senior Systems Engineer

Dexian is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator III to join our team in Corporation of Ranson, VA.

• Configure, monitor, and maintain VMware and Windows environments to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure all servers operate at peak levels, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as needed.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and monitor web server-related software to meet business needs.
• Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and support clients' network infrastructure, including Active Directory and service-specific tools.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide advanced technical support to clients.
• Analyze network performance and make recommendations for optimization.
• Install, upgrade, and migrate Windows workstations and servers to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and modify login scripts to enhance user experience.
• Assess and recommend billing options based on client contracts.

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency in VMware vCenter, VMware NSX, Windows Admin, and AD Admin.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure performance and optimization, Windows Admin, and virtualization technologies.
• Ability to lead technical meetings with clients and provide expert-level support.
• Experience with remote system administration, incident, problem, and change management.
• Strong understanding of virtual machine management, storage architecture, and network connectivity planning.
• Knowledge of Linux environment and storage and networking concepts.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain required agency clearance.
• Experience with monitoring tools like SNOW, VROPS, VRO, and HPE One View.
• PowerShell/PowerCLI scripting skills and datacenter architecting expertise.
