Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional - Behavioral Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and program implementation while ensuring their daily well-being and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily cares, medical needs, and supports, ADLs, and mental health supports.
  • Plan and implement daily routines that promote choice and independence.
  • Develop and lead recreational, leisure, and community activities that foster socialization and growth.
  • Drive company vehicles to transport clients to appointments and community events.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to pass Department of Human Services background checks and maintain qualified status.
  • Familiarity with Positive Supports and mental health outcomes.
