F&B Technician

At Treasure Bay LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented F&B - Hospitality Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:
The F&B - Hospitality Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and general engineering tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our hotel and food and beverage facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to:
- Ensuring lighting specifications are followed and bulbs are replaced as necessary in guest rooms, hallways, and dining rooms.
- General tasks such as changing doors, changing locks, assembling furniture, easing and adjusting windows, caulking, replacing handles, replacing smoke detectors, hanging pictures and signage, and hanging curtain rods and similar hardware.
- Programming locks and performing lock interrogations in conjunction with the front desk team.
- Repairing minor issues with electrical gadgets, furniture, and plumbing.
- Performing preventive maintenance.
- Operating and understanding basic television, plumbing, and electrical systems throughout the hotel.
- Maintaining radio and phone communication contact with crew members during assigned shifts.
- Working with housekeeping and food and beverage teams to perform jobs as required.
- Ensuring all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly at all times.
- Working with housekeeping and stewarding managers to maintain equipment inventory.
- Maintaining a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention.
- Immediately reporting problems or failures that may impact the company and/or guests to direct reports.
- Performing assigned duties during emergencies.
- Must be able to transcribe written and/or verbal instructions.
- Performing basic guest services such as giving directions and answering questions.
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. Skills in general DIY and maintenance, including assessment, installation, repair, and maintenance. Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and communication skills. Ability to communicate with 2-way radio. Forklift and equipment experience helpful. High degree of ambulatory mobility to enable the person to respond to any type of emergency situation or service call.

The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills.
