Compensation: $3,500 per course.

Teaching Responsibilities: This role involves teaching at least one course each term, covering summer, fall, and spring sessions.

Key Responsibilities

This position is essential to address current capacity needs within the Counseling program, including practicum experiences and doctoral coursework for various terms.

The selected candidate will instruct undergraduate, graduate, and/or doctoral courses based on departmental requirements.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Counseling Education.
  • Preference for candidates from CACREP accredited programs.
  • Experience in teaching graduate-level counseling courses.
  • Possession of a counseling identity.
  • Prior teaching experience in school counseling or clinical mental health is desirable.

Work Environment
  • Work modality will vary based on class assignments and departmental needs.
This role will require the ability to work both remotely in Texas and on the UTSA downtown campus (approximately five or more days on campus per month). Travel and parking costs will be the responsibility of the employee. Candidates must be flexible and willing to adapt to both work environments.
