Lateral Conflicts and Intake Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Lateral Conflicts and Intake Specialist to support our team in managing conflicts of interest and ensuring a seamless onboarding process for lateral hires.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough conflict checks for lateral hires and new client matters, utilizing internal databases and external resources.
  • Analyze potential conflicts, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for resolution.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and stakeholders to gather necessary information for conflict assessments.
  • Maintain and update conflict of interest databases and intake systems.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for lateral hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Coordinate with the compliance team to implement and maintain policies regarding conflicts of interest and client intake.
  • Provide training and support to staff on conflict management procedures and best practices.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting conflict management.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in conflicts, IntApp, and Adereant is required.
  • Proven experience in conflict management, legal intake, or a similar role within a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency in conflict management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
