We're seeking a talented Senior User Experience Developer to join our team at Portland Webworks.

As a key member of our design and development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our web applications. We value wisdom, curiosity, and a sense of fun, and believe that everyone on our team has a unique perspective to bring to the table.

In this role, you will be responsible for taking product vision from our design teams and combining it with project technical requirements to produce high-quality deliverables. This involves working closely with our design and development teams to ensure that all aspects of the application are intuitive, visually appealing, and meet industry best practices.

A successful candidate will have extensive experience with modern web application frameworks, including React, NextJS, React Native, PHP (Drupal CMS), and Angular. You will also be skilled in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and have a background in at least one of these frameworks. Additionally, familiarity with tools like Sass, LESS, TailWind, Bootstrap, Material Design, and Ant Design is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking product vision from design teams and combining it with project technical requirements to produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Working closely with design and development teams to ensure that all aspects of the application are intuitive, visually appealing, and meet industry best practices.
  • Designing and developing reusable UI components that adhere to industry standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
