Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Chef'Store. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, front end, and restrooms.
  • Assist customers with finding products and answering questions about store services.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and report low stock levels to management.
  • Participate in inventory and cycle count processes as needed.
  • Assist with price changes, opening and closing duties, and other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency utilizing general office equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a retail store setting, open to the public. The noise level is usually moderate, and the work environment is fast-paced. The temperature varies throughout the store, ranging from -10 to 85 degrees. Required to physically interact with customers.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role is between $20.72- $22.26, depending on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. This part-time position is ineligible for benefits.
