Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Technician to oversee our technical department and utilize their skills to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-starter with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with clients and their pets to provide high-quality patient care.
- Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures, dental care, and other medical tasks.
- Supervise and mentor veterinary technicians and assistants.
- Provide education and marketing to clients.
- Utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to manage the technical department.
- 5+ years of experience as a lead veterinary technician.
- Veterinary Technician License for the state of New York (preferred).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive wages ($36.00 per hour for a licensed veterinary technician, $30.00 per hour for an experienced, unlicensed veterinary technician).
