Job Title: ATM Lead Installer

Shields Business Solutions, Inc., a leading independent ATM installation and service company in NJ and Eastern PA, is seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined individual to oversee the installation of various banking equipment, including ATMs, safes, and vaults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team on-site at customer locations
  • Handle all facets of install ancillaries, including supply ordering, gathering, and preparation
  • Perform physical site surveys, documenting necessary information, photographs, and drawings
  • Confirm all materials prior to the scheduled date, including surrounds, sign boxes, lighting, and waste receptacles
  • Prepare equipment for delivery or removal as applicable
  • Ensure proper loading and securing of equipment for transportation
  • Complete installation or deinstallation of equipment as scheduled
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to job tasks
  • Lead and complete building maintenance projects as needed
  • Train installers, assistants, and drivers on equipment movement and associated tasks
  • Daily completion and submission of required paperwork
Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with individuals inside and outside the company
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and vendors
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a group
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Truck driving experience
  • Warehouse experience
  • Operation of lift gates and pallet jacks
  • Proficient understanding of rigging
  • Proficient in carpentry, electrical, and masonry
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment
  • Ability to use standard power and hand tools
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Documentation skills
Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines. The physical demands of the job include lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving at least 50 pounds, standing, walking, kneeling, and crouching for long periods. The work environment includes both indoor office and warehouse settings, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
