Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic Helper to support our team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will assist experienced sheet metal mechanics in fabricating, installing, and maintaining sheet metal products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

- Collaborate with sheet metal mechanics in laying out, measuring, and marking sheet metal materials.

- Support the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products, including ductwork, fittings, and architectural elements.

- Assist in installing sheet metal systems, such as HVAC ductwork and ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

- Perform maintenance and repairs of existing sheet metal systems as needed.

- Safely handle and transport sheet metal materials, equipment, and tools.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.

- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize workplace accidents and hazards.
