Position Overview

The Project Engineer - Commercial/Light Industrial Construction will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
  • Assist in overseeing the management of construction projects while leading the team in collaborative efforts across various disciplines.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Support and coordinate the interface between design and field construction activities.
  • Develop and implement site utilization plans, determining necessary crew sizes.
  • Assist the Project Manager in managing costs and budgets.
  • Engage with subcontractors to develop and negotiate a bidders list.
  • Prepare comprehensive project status reports for client coordination.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Project Engineer - Commercial/Light Industrial Construction position will possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience in construction projects is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in ProCore, Bluebeam, and CMIC.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Adaptability to ensure project success.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects.
