Pharmacy Department Lead

We are seeking an experienced leader to serve as the Department Chair of Pharmacy Services at MAHEC. As the chief academic and administrative officer, you will play a vital role in shaping the department's direction and ensuring its continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of equity, accountability, engagement, collaboration, patient experience, and quality in clinical, educational, and research programs.
- Collaborate with Executive Team, Department Chairs, and other key roles to drive success and achieve organizational goals.
- Supervise key leadership roles: Residency Director(s), Director of 340B Pharmacy, and other department leaders to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the department's capabilities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Lead a team of clinical and operations leaders with Administrative Director to achieve outstanding operations and maintain a strong mission focus.
- Expand and maintain relationships with external partners to foster growth and collaboration.
- Ensure Pharmacy Services educational initiatives directly support Rural Health Initiatives (RHI) strategic goals.
Requirements:
- A valid NC Driver's License is required.
- Licensure to practice pharmacy in North Carolina is essential.
- Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties is also required.
This is a full-time position offering an estimated annual salary of $125,000-$155,000 based on qualifications and experience.
Regular attendance on-site is an essential function of this position, with typical business hours being Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Weekend, holiday, or evening coverage may be occasionally required.
