Job Summary

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the Department of Pharmacy Services at MAHEC. The successful candidate will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer, building a shared inspirational vision and fostering a culture that focuses on equity, accountability, engagement, collaboration, patient experience, and quality of clinical, educational, and research programs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Serving as a Senior Leader within the organization by collaborating with Executive Team, Department Chairs, and other key roles.
  • Supervising key leadership roles: Residency Director(s), Director of 340B Pharmacy, and other department leaders to ensure success.
  • Guiding faculty mentorship and faculty development.
  • Promoting and participating in continuing education programs.
  • Overseeing the successful integration and implementation of all community / retail pharmacy operations and a 340B pharmacy program.
  • Leading a team of clinical and operations leaders with Administrative Director to achieve optimal operations.

Requirements
  • Valid NC Driver's License.
  • Licensure to practice pharmacy in North Carolina.
  • Eligible for credentialing as a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner.
  • Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year.
