Job Summary

The Financial Reporting Intern will serve Compeer Financial's internal and external clients by providing financial accounting services. The intern will primarily focus on Compeer's patronage dividend process by providing internal, regulatory, and external financial reporting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patronage Services: Work with estates, transfers, retirements, outstanding checks, patronage agreements, unclaimed property, and general ledger balancing as appropriate.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist with financial reporting processes and report preparation relative to call reports, shareholder reports, allowances, etc.
  • Client Service: Provide high-quality service to internal and external clients by answering questions and resolving issues related to Compeer's patronage program in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Working towards completing an Accounting or Finance degree, with 1-2 years of experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of computers and software applications such as Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Solid organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving skills, and time management required.
  • Must also be detail-oriented, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.
