Position Overview:

The Financial Reporting Intern at Compeer Financial plays a vital role in serving internal and external clients by providing financial accounting services. This position focuses on Compeer's patronage dividend process, offering internal, regulatory, and external financial reporting services.

Essential Functions:
  • Patronage: Collaborate with estates, transfers, retirements, outstanding checks, patronage agreements, unclaimed property, and general ledger balancing as necessary.
  • Financial reporting: Assist with financial reporting processes and report preparation related to call reports, shareholder reports, allowances, and more.
  • Client service: Provide high-quality service to internal and external clients by answering questions and resolving issues related to Compeer's patronage program in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Working towards completing an Accounting or Finance degree, with 1-2 years of experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of computers and software applications such as Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Solid organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving skills, and time management required.
  • Must also be detail-oriented, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.
