Construction Project Support Specialist

PrideStaff is seeking a dedicated full-time administrative professional with a background in construction project support and permitting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail, essential for managing permitting processes and providing direct assistance to project coordinators. This role involves close collaboration with Project Coordinators to ensure adherence to project timelines while delivering critical information to clients and safeguarding our financial protocols.


Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Compensation: $23-$25 per hour, based on experience
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Solid understanding of computer operations.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively communicate with clients both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Input all relevant data into BuilderTrend.
  • Handle all project documentation, including authorizations, contracts, and legal paperwork.

Attention to detail is crucial.

  • Respond to phone inquiries promptly.
  • Schedule meetings for the project manager as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers, subcontractors, and field teams.
  • Prepare close-out documents as necessary, such as lien releases.
  • Occasional local travel may be required; a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
