We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team on a per diem basis. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and prepare all necessary equipment, monitors, and supplies for anesthesia administration.
- Select and administer anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, and fluids to maintain patient physiologic homeostasis.
- Perform tracheal intubation and extubation, as well as place supraglottic airways and provide mechanical ventilation.
- Manage regional anesthetic techniques, including subarachnoid, epidural, and caudal blocks.
- Provide perianesthetic invasive and non-invasive monitoring and respond to abnormal findings.
- Recognize and treat cardiac dysrhythmias using perianesthetic electrocardiogram monitoring.
- Manage patient fluid, blood, electrolyte, and acid-base balance.
- Evaluate patient response during emergency situations and institute corrective action.
- Master's degree from an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia Program.
- Current/valid State of Florida CRNA License and NBCRNA certification.
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, HIV, Domestic Violence, and Preventing Medical Errors continuing education certifications.
