Assembly Technician

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at Research Electro-Optics. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling precision optical components, electronics, and mechanicals into mechanical assemblies for laser systems at both the component and sub-system level.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Clean and inspect parts to meet specifications
  • Assemble basic optomechanical assemblies using written procedures and complete relevant paperwork
  • Packages optomechanical assemblies for shipment
  • Chemical handling and follow proper cleanroom practices and protocols
  • Use of cleanline and ultrasonic cleaning equipment
  • Safety and high level of attention to detail
  • Experience with Data Entry, 6S support, and use of computers
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing in an assembly department preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
  • 2 year Degree or Technical School Graduate preferred
