About the Role
Catheterization Laboratory Technicians play a vital role in the healthcare industry, assisting medical professionals in cardiac catheterization procedures. As a Catheterization Laboratory Technician with TotalMed Staffing, you will be responsible for preparing patients, operating equipment, and ensuring the efficiency of the Catheterization Laboratory team for optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing patients and operating equipment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist the medical team during procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Document procedure details accurately and maintain patient records.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care in the cath lab.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 2 years of recent Cardiovascular Cath Lab Techn experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
