We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Advanced Recovery Systems. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for the overall direction and coordination of nursing services, including the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to incorporate medical issues into treatment planning and ensure seamless care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines and standards, maintaining a safe physical environment and preserving the personal dignity of clients.
- Manage outpatient needs for discharged clients, including injections as needed, and may function in the role of DON in the absence or by direction of the DON.
- Participate in regular department meetings and staff meetings, demonstrating ability to interact with clients with compassion and respect.
- Perform additional duties as deemed necessary by supervisor, including resolving pending issues from previous shifts and coordinating the Vivitrol program.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse as indicated in State law required.
- Minimum two years' experience as a Licensed Registered Nurse required.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed to practice in the State of practice required.
- Higher education preferred.
- Behavioral health experience preferred.
