Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to become a vital part of our team. The Operator will handle various responsibilities related to the movement of goods within the warehouse environment.

The role requires transporting products and materials, with the necessity to work in a cold storage setting. Weekend availability is essential.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently load and unload products using Electric Pallet Jacks and Stand-Up Forklifts.
  • Safely maneuver forklifts and reach trucks to facilitate the movement of materials throughout the facility.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as required.
  • Oversee inventory management and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and comply with OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and supervisors regarding operational needs.

Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Experience with forklift operation is mandatory.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmission.
  • Experience in picking and proficient in loading and unloading tasks.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in operating electric pallet jacks.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Understanding of distribution center operations.

Experience Level:
Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.

Job Type:
Full-time

Compensation:
$20.50 per hour

Expected Hours:
40 hours per week plus overtime as needed.
