Job Summary

Pentech Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Health Infusion Nurse. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments, nursing interventions, pump refills, dose adjustments, and patient education to patients with implanted intrathecal drug delivery devices.
  • Meet the needs of patients through travel within the area, up to 200 miles, to create a personalized schedule that meets patient needs.
  • Collaborate with the prescribing physician, patient, and caregivers as needed to ensure effective care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in compliance with state, HIPAA, and TJC requirements.
  • Participate in Shared Governance and integrate evidence-based research into practice.
Requirements
  • 3 years of RN experience with 24/7 accountability.
  • Ability to complete Intrathecal Nurse Fellowship Orientation program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a resourceful, proactive problem solver.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ICU/ER/OR and/or home care experience.
  • Solid understanding of chronic pain/rehab principles.
  • BSN.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent travel via car, train, or plane.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to perform CPR continuously in an emergency situation.
