Job Description

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Transaction Advisor sought by KNM Resources in Monmouth County. Partner with the leadership team to evaluate potential acquisitions.

The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of corporate financial modeling experience or transaction/deal advisory experience in the Big 4, with a focus on strategic partnerships and collaborations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing due diligence support, participating in negotiations, and preparing documents for transactions.
  • Liaising with finance counterparts of target companies to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Collaborating with corporate and business unit leaders to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Creating complex financial models to value and analyze transactions, ensuring accurate forecasting and projections.
  • Drafting management presentations and board materials to effectively communicate acquisition strategies.
  • Remaining current with market developments and trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensuring a foundational knowledge of target clients and their operations.
  • Providing pro forma financial and operational analysis to support informed decision-making.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 2+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in transaction advisory or financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in Excel modeling and PowerPoint, with the ability to create complex financial models and presentations.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders.
  • Ability to apply valuation techniques and concepts to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Workday is a plus, but not required.

Estimated salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
