Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer II to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Commerce and Ecosystems (C+E) team, you will be responsible for managing and automating a large-scale Commerce platform, providing world-class analytics to customers, and ensuring seamless interactions with Azure and Office.

You will collaborate with multiple teams across the company, gaining wide exposure and a broad technical surface area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and automate a large-scale Commerce platform
  • Provide world-class analytics to customers
  • Ensure seamless interactions with Azure and Office
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across the company
  • Drive highly impactful operational initiatives for all of C+E

Requirements

  • 4+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Security Clearance Requirements

  • The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.

Benefits and Compensation

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
