Job Overview

Carnahan Proctor and Cross, Inc. (CPC), a leading engineering design firm in Central and South Florida, seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer to lead our Land Development and Municipal projects.

This senior-level position requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in site development, water and sewer utilities, and stormwater management, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage Municipal projects throughout the State of Florida, utilizing technical knowledge and business acumen to drive project success.
  • Lead internal projects and design staff, providing guidance on day-to-day project aspects, and ensuring timely completion within allocated budgets.
  • Effectively communicate project information to superiors and stakeholders, resolving issues promptly and escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Manage permits with government agencies, local and state, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
Requirements
  • A Florida Professional Engineer License is required for this position.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Land Development and Municipal projects, with expertise in site development, water and sewer utilities, and stormwater management.
  • BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • Experience with Land Development/Site Design, Stormwater, Utilities, and permitting with Local and State Regulatory Agencies is essential.
